The company shaped the blade to a modified clip-point design, coated it in non-reflective black, and laser cut it with a 14mm Spyderco round hole for quick deployment with or without gloves). And to improve control, the C36GBK features texturing above the hole for the thumb, which stays in contact with the blade's spine during cutting with the serrated edge. The "Millie," as the C36GBK is known, also includes a G-10 handle with a locking liner nested (inlayed) directly into the scale, pumping up lock strength without adding bulky liners. Spacers between the handle scales create a gap that runs the handle's full length, exposing the inside workings for inspection and cleaning.
